I have been an English language and literature teacher for more than 12 years in the city of Colombo.
Students are encouraged to explore the language and ask any question they have. Approach is always student friendly maintaining a high energy level and spirit.
The first session will be more of a casual looking talk between the student and myself to get to know each other and to understand his/her needs and areas to be improved.
From the second one onwards, lessons will be tailor-made or exam oriented depending on the course.
Whatever the course, all four skills will be covered and the session will reach FULLY-EMERSED-IN- ENGLISH LEVEL as soon as possible depending on the student's level and progress. This will help the student grasp the language more naturally and effortlessly.

Experience

    Spoken English training is done by practical activities preceded and followed by classroom sessions.
    Students are taken to different locations (once or twice every month) in Colombo and real-life practical English language training is done using interactive sessions on the touring location.
  • English language teacher (Dec, 2018–Present) at Sigma Institute, Colombo 06
    I have been working as an English language teacher covering Sri Lanka government school syllabus and Spoken English course. (Apart from teaching Ordinary Level English Literature online.)
    Teaching was done as two hour sessions covering the textbooks and giving the students supplementary materials designed by myself.
