Music is a form of expression.
Any style of music is different and special on its own.
I teach light music which includes Bhajans, Shlokas, Songs and also Hindustani Classical Music which includes tanpura, harmonium/keyboard, taalmaal.
Light Music varies based on the type of genre taught which includes classical, semi-classical, and Bhajans.
Hindustani Classical Music includes teaching from basics which includes basic swaras, aakaras, raagas, swargeets, lakshangeets, taans, and alaaps.
I believe in bringing perfection in whatever I teach and I try to bring the perfection of the song/raagas in the student and only then proceed to the next type of song/raaga.
The time required to learn depends on the individual's interest, dedication, and grasping power.
Each song/raaga/bhajans is taught with a sense of authenticity, ensuring it does not deviate from the original type.
I also believe music is not a fixed knowledge and it only grows. I would like to not only teach but also to learn different styles from students making it an interactive and a enjoyable session.
