I am passionate about art, particularly drawing, painting and pastels. I enjoy teaching beginners and helping them develop their skills and creativity. I believe everyone has some artistic ability in them that just needs to be discovered / uncovered. I have worked with all ages from as young as 4 years old to beyond 70 years old. I have prepared high school students for final exams and have had successful results with a good number of my students receiving distinctions. I have worked with students who have been at different levels of their artistic journey and have helped them to develop further. My approach has always been to meet the student at their level of expertise and grow that level. I always aim to find something positive in my student's artwork when giving feedback as well as recommendations for improvement in technique and content. For me, my student's success is my success.
