First, I am a fresh graduate from the University. Though I have handled several students as a side hustle. My disciplines (Maths, Chemistry and Biology), I believe I need a lot of patience with the student. Create a rapport with the student first, then find a way of delivering the information in a simple way that the learner can utilise and repetition of a similar concept to ensure it is well taken in. I know students are different and are to be handled differently. At the end of our lesson, to get to know the student gain is when he/she can teach me too. I believe a great teacher is one that can understand her students and handle them accordingly, which I believe I am. With homescience, bringing the daily household activities into the picture stands out to be a cornerstone. I am confident, that if given this chance to handle a student, I will be of impact to his or her academic life. Thank you
