Student centered! I adapted my teaching to meet the needs of individual students, and it worked 99% of the time. I mainly talk to students. You may call them pep talks, but they were more encouragement and telling them what steps they could take to do better. I use all sorts of teaching styles when I teach. If I had to I even stood on my head to get lessons across to a student. It doesn't matter which style I preferred. The only thing that matters is which style helped a particular child . Education is about learning. Learning is accomplished by students, not teachers.
