Hello and thanks for looking at my profile!

I am Amelia and I'm a fully qualified teacher with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. I'm a yoga and strength training lover!

I have 15 years of overall teaching experience; 11 years in primary schools in London and 4 years in a language academy in Spain. I specialised in communicative conversational English, English for travel, grammar, English for children and Business English.

My teaching style is very casual and low-stress. I am a very friendly, calm and professional teacher. I believe that learning should be enjoyable so expect my classes to be fully interactive with lots of fun activities! I always assure my students that it is ok to make mistakes because that is how we learn. My teaching methodology includes supporting my students to acquire the English language in the most natural way. The exact learning needs of my students would always be the focus in each lesson.

I have taught many students online from around the world from judges to scientists to teachers which was very interesting. I have also helped 3 students from China and Turkey with their IELTs speaking exams and they have all been successful in their exams.

I'm committed to helping you with general English learning. Together we will practise your everyday conversational and listening skills, using a variety of interesting materials. Improve your pronunciation, build your vocabulary and learn to use English expressions with confidence!

    I worked with children, teenagers and adults from beginners to intermediate levels (A2-B2). I taught English for children, Conversational English, Business English and Grammar.

    Early Years Teacher
    I worked in Reception (aged 4-5 years) for three years and focused on all the Early Years subjects including teaching the skills of reading, writing, speaking, listening. My subject specialism was phonics which are the building blocks for reading, writing and correct pronunciation.

Fee details

    €12–18/hour (US$13.04–19.57/hour)

    All my classes are online and all are personalised. My fee will vary based on how much time it takes to prepare for lessons and other levels of support. Preparation of classes are based on my students' needs.
