Teaching is much more than just rote learning. It's about inspiration. Once the students know that they are capable enough to learn their curriculum, they have got lots of potential, they would be among toppers. To be skillful in any subject, a firm determination and some practice is required.
To enhance memory, just make a habit of reading the subject matter carefully and revise it a few times. Become your own teacher and ask some relevant questions. This will sharpen your memory, and focus.
Like all other skills, a student can develop his or her mastery over learning as well. He or she can be skillful in whatever field they have enrolled.
