Hi! My name is Farida. I am an English teacher. I am TEFL certified (120 hour course, TEFL.org) and I currently hold a degree in Sociology from the University of Edinburgh. In addition to teaching English for the past 2 years, I've also worked in both primary and secondary schools in the U.K., my experience primarily lays in the position of pupil support staff, offering additional educational support to students with learning disabilities.
I am currently teaching online and looking to expand my work, I am confident in my ability to provide thoughtful, high-quality education. My professional journey has led me to get to know students from all walks of life, catering to both individual and group needs; understanding different ages and circumstances, and even personality, sometimes require a flexibility and openness in approach. I have helped support students with English exam preparation (TOEFL), conversational fluency, and focus on reading and writing for the more academically focused. I have also taught business English. I am open to discuss individual needs one on one and check in with what I am able to offer with the best of my abilities.
Thank you for reading, Farida
