Being a student of literary theories and philosophies, I help my students to behold things from a completely different perspective. As far as the English language is concerned, I put my emphasis on the sound—phonology and phonetics—of language, as I come from the same school as Ferdinand de Sassure. I help my students to be engaged by employing examples from films, novels etc., which helps them enormously. As far as literary theories are concerned, I specialize in the 20th-century theories which, arguably, not only criticized the assumptions that had deeply ingrained in people by that time, but also set the foundation for a novel discourse.
