My point of view about Pathology is that the basis of any underlying abnormality originates from normal physiology. So I give a brief overview of physiology, anatomy and biochemistry then on the basis of them I inculcate the underlying pathology of any disease condition.
I remain focused on the specific area or system of disease alongwith its associations to other body systems. I like my students to have the grip over every detail of the topic under study and give them the insight that how understanding of pathology can lead to better understanding of clinical side of medical profession.
I prefer to involve the students in brain storming activities e.g. giving them scenarios alongwith investigations and then help them to dig in and understand the pathology step by step. By doing this, student himself become able to probe and understand the underlying mechanisms of any disease condition.

Experience

  • Demonstrator (Feb, 2024–Present) at CMH Institute of Medical Sciences Bahawalpur
    I am working as senior demonstrator in my institution. I have eligibility of assistant professor from our national council for doctors.
    In my institute, I give case based lectures to the classes of 3rd and 4th year of MBBS which covers general pathology, microbiology, special Pathology and hematology. I am also teaching nursing students over there.
  • Resident Pathology (Feb, 2019–Feb, 2023) at Qauid e azam medical college Bahawalpur
    While working as resident of Chemical Pathology, I had experience with real patients, witnessing their disease conditions. I have experience of correlation of underlying pathology of disease process with the clinical features of patients as well as with their pattern of investigational profile.
