I like to teach from the very basics, even if it takes more time and sometimes takes significant digressions from the topic. I like to take regular exams, and discuss the solutions immediately after the exam is over. I will present both philosophical and problem-solving points of view as far as physics is concerned. I will encourage students to solve a lot of problems themselves to completment my teaching. I like to let the student derive the important formulae by discovering himself.
In the case of computer science and python programming, I prefer a hands-on approach, emphasizing simple real-life problems rather than unnecessary jargon. I try to eliminate the fear of maths related to programming by real life examples and build up every concept from real-life. I also try hard to give the perspective that computer science is just a tool by exposing them to diverse applications of programming, ranging from biology to physics.
I also, help students in maintaining motivation and resolving academics related issues to foster holistic development.
