Assalamualaykum

My name is Hammad Hafeji from South Africa Johannesburg. I am 23 years old. I have studied Islamic Sciences for 10 years after completing Hifz (Memorisation) of The Noble Quran by my mother. I am honoured to study under senior scholars of my country at Darul Uloom Zakariyya and completed my Qiraat Course under the tutorship of Qari Ayyub Sahib who is the head of the Qiraat Faculty. I have also studied Islamic Sciences at the the Darul Uloom for 7 years and graduated with An A grade Alhamdulillah in 2022. I am currently perusing my Iftaa Studies under the tutorship of Mufti Rida ul Haq at Darul Uloom Zakariyya and will graduate inshallah in 2026. I am also currently studying an online international 4 year Arabic course at معهد الإمام ابن مالك in my free time. I have passed my first year with an average of 84.97% and currently in my second year.

My passion for teaching had begun in 2022 after graduating. Alhamdulillah I am currently teaching young children and Teenagers at our local Masjid Hifz and basic Arabic. I would love to enhance my teaching career across the globe to students who have been deprived due to lack of scholars in their areas and have the desire to become students of Islamic Sciences.

I am free to communicate and teach any age group for boys as for girls I request to be excused as I am not befitting to teach them.

  • Imaam and Hifz Ustaaz (Jun, 2023–Present) at Masjid Khalid Bin Waleed Lenasia
    I am currently leading Salaah (5 daily prayers) and daily advises at the mosque as well as Friday lectures in the community for the past 3 years. I am also assisting part time at the association in educating small kids how to memorise the Quran etc.
  • Quran Teacher (May, 2023–Oct, 2023) at iSchool
    I was working at the organisation as a Qura Teacher for 6 months however they were not able to pay me for that duration so we had to part our way's.
  • Presenter Researcher Studio Engineer and Receptionist (Nov, 2018–Oct, 2024) at Radio Islam International
    I started as a Receptionist while studing in 2018 till 2020, I was later upgraded to a new post Studio Engineering from 2020 to 2022
    After my graduation at Darul Uloom Zakariyya from the faculty of Islamic Sharia Sciences I was upgraded to Presenting and Researching from 2022 till 2024. I left this post due to not managing with the work load with my studies in October 2024.
