I have a bit experience of home tutour for about half a year . I had seen during my teaching the students were actively participating and were with good fruit with their respective marks.
I thrive to bring the best of child .
I use the method of testing what you studied will only known by test.
And the test act as the student to booster dose bringing the much self confidence within them .
Also I believe a bit of scolding is also necessary as it helps them to analyse their mistake and help to improve them
