My name is Venita Nyalando. I am an astute and flexible teacher with 6 years of international teaching experience. Venita has a Masters degree in educational administration and a Bachelor degree in education (arts). I am a TSC certified teacher from Kenya and the Senior director of education for Kenya in the International Teachers Association. I chose the teaching profession because I am passionate about interacting with students to ensure that they reach their full potential.
My teaching methodology is student-centered approach learning. I prefer a hands-on teaching style to enhance learning. It includes games, practical activities, puzzles, etc .I value inclusivity and respect to learners as independent individuals.
One of my greatest achievement in my most recent role is studying together with a student in 2023. The learner managed to improve his writing skills significantly and managed to secure the first place nationwide in a prestigious writing competition organized by Kigali Public Library. I prefer engaging students with fun activities during the lesson with a focus of meeting the learning objectives and goals within a speculated timeframe.
