Hello! I’m Dena AlFadhli, an experienced educator with an M.A. in TESOL from Columbia University and a B.A. in English Literature from Boston University, where I earned a spot on the Dean’s List. Over the past 3+ years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of students, from preschoolers to adult learners at university level. My focus is on creating tailored, interactive learning experiences that foster language development, with a particular emphasis on writing skills.

I draw on a variety of evidence-based strategies to help students succeed. These include using self-paced learning models like the Modern Classroom Approach (MCA) to empower students to learn at their own speed, providing personalized feedback that nurtures growth, and incorporating mobile-assisted learning tools to make language practice accessible and engaging. Additionally, I emphasize the importance of process-based writing, where students develop their skills through iterative feedback and reflection, helping them build confidence and refine their language identity.

    Developed and implemented engaging educational programs and extracurricular
    activities tailored to preschool-aged children. Coordinated and oversaw staff training,
    ensuring alignment with educational goals and best practices.

    Developed and implemented a dynamic curriculum for 10th-grade students from diverse
