I’m Mrs Ruwini Yasadari. As a dedicated educator with a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and a strong foundation in natural sciences, I bring over 12 years of experience as a secondary school teacher. My passion for education and research, particularly in conservation and climate change, drives me to inspire students to engage with and care for the environment.
In my teaching, I emphasize fostering critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and environmental stewardship. By incorporating hands-on activities, innovative teaching methods, and real-world applications, I strive to make complex concepts accessible and engaging for diverse learners. When it is online, I would go with more visual demonstrations/ videos to make the lesson more attractive and realize to the students.
At the school environment, beyond the classroom, I actively participate in professional development and environmental initiatives, ensuring my teaching remains relevant and impactful. I am eager to contribute to an institution that values both academic excellence and a commitment to shaping responsible global citizens.
I look forward to opportunities where I can continue to share my expertise, inspire young minds, and contribute to a collaborative and dynamic learning environment.
