I’m an enthusiastic IB Mathematics teacher who believes that math is more than just formulas and equations—it’s about building confidence, solving problems, and understanding the world around us. With a strong background in both mathematics and teaching, I’ve spent 24 years guiding students through the IB Math curriculum, from Standard to Higher Level, and I love seeing their growth and excitement as they discover how math connects to real-life situations.
My teaching style is all about making math accessible and engaging for every student. I strive to build the confidence of students where they feel comfortable asking questions, exploring new ideas, and working together. Whether it’s through interactive lessons, hands-on projects, or using technology, I aim to meet each student where they are, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
I’m a firm believer in the power of a growth mindset—math can be tough sometimes, but with perseverance and a positive attitude, anyone can succeed. I focus on helping students not just understand the content, but also develop the skills they need to think critically and approach problems creatively.
For me, teaching is about more than preparing students for exams—it's about helping them appreciate the beauty and utility of mathematics. My goal is to inspire my students to see math as a tool they can use in all areas of their lives and to feel confident in their ability to tackle whatever challenges come their way.
