Professional Tabla Player and Educator

As a dedicated tabla maestro with an MA in Tabla (1st rank), I bring over a decade of teaching experience and a rich performance history across diverse musical genres. Trained under legendary gurus—Pt. Nagesh Pai (disciple of Pandit Taranath Rao) for 7 years and Sri Mayank Bedekar (disciple of Taalyogi Padmashree Pandit Suresh Talwalkar) for 8 years—I have cultivated a profound understanding of traditional and contemporary tabla artistry.

My performance repertoire spans classical, light, fusion, folk, film, ghazal, devotional, western, and solo music, showcasing versatility and an ability to adapt to any musical context. As an educator, I have mentored countless students over the past 10 years, many of whom are now professional tabla players. I specialize in guiding students through tabla exams, competitions, and performances, from basic to advanced levels, fostering technical excellence and artistic expression.

I offer both individual and group classes and have experience teaching in institutional settings. My goal is to inspire students to achieve their fullest potential and contribute meaningfully to the world of music.
