Hi there! My name is Yu Nagahisa, and I’m here to help you with maths.

I aspire to become a professional mathematical physicist and I’m currently on my application path for Ivy league entrance, class of 2030. As for my tutoring experience, I’ve worked as a math tutor for a senior year student and helped her get into one of her dream schools. In the past three years, I’ve also provided a number of lectures on advanced mathematical concepts and its diverse applications targeting students with strong passion for the subject. Currently, I’m involved in developing the teaching strategies for my wife's online class for an IB student who’s struggling in his math class.

I recognise that mathematics is an abstract subject which often leads students to lose sight of study. I love empowering students by sharing beautiful ideas and diverse practical applications hidden behind each topic. I believe that solid motivation cultivated in my lesson ignites students’ passion for spontaneous study.

My lesson will be completely online. Hearing your voice and academic ability in advance, I provide well-prepared lessons aligned to each one’s need. I’m confident my tutoring experiences as well as my mathematical journey will be helpful in achieving your academic success!
