I have work experience as a social worker, in office management and as a teacher. I am an easygoing person, a motivated teacher with good communication skill, Information Technology, organization and leadership skills. I have the ability to take initiative and work under pressure while still maintaining a calm and reassuring manner with my students.
Having met and interreacted with students over the years, I believe that a classroom should be a safe, caring community where children are free to speak their mind and blossom and grow. I will use strategies to ensure our classroom community will flourish, like the morning meeting, positive vs. negative discipline, classroom jobs.
