Greetings Creative Scholars, I'm Mr. Lindsey E. Bates a working artist and Art Instructor from Chicago. I have been an artist since I was child. I would draw my favorite cartoon characters cut them out. A play with the on a hand drawn background scenes. I am here to keep that child like joy and imagination strong and intelligent. Placing having us research then practice the various principles found in the different creative principles. My classes focus on the principles of animation, illustration, design, typography, and painting. I am a humorous engaging instructor who likes to nurture and challenge my scholars. My teaching experiences ranges from primary through university. At which I have received an educator of the month to community engagement awards for my style of educational involvement. I have become everything from Art Liasion to a Site Director for schools. Art and teaching isn't just my profession it is my core of who I am.
