I believe in an open minded learning environment in which the child in comfortable and has understood concepts before proceeding to new ones. Its important to follow pace with the child and keeping their minds active with activities that make the learning experience relaxing and wanting the child to learn further. Learning involves hands on experience and letting a child express through their thoughts what they have understood and guiding them to excel further. I use technology and hands on tools to make projects, story telling, writing and drawing to improve learning and understanding. This can include paints, modeling clay, lego blocks, household items to make the connection from book to real world understanding and concepts.
