I teach Mathematics for almost 5 years now. I can give examples of many students who initially don't like math but later developed interest in math. So, if you don't like or understand, here is your opportunity. I always try bringing easy examples for better understanding.
One of my students from class 12 who don't like math decided to opt for medical studies. After 1 year of teaching, he changed to engineering from medical.
I give more focus on understanding and also solving rather than just getting marks by memorizing. I believe mathematics is a subject which does not require much memorization. So, you will sit in the exam hall without any pressure.
