Hi, I am Lea Jasmine Santiago, 24 years old from the Philippines.
I graduated from Universidad de Sta. Isabel de Naga, Incorporated, with the degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics, last May 27, 2023. I attained awards of being a Cum Laude and Outstanding in Teaching Internship. I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers last December 7, 2023 with a rating of 87.80%. I was enrolled in my Master’s Degree under the program of Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics Education at Naga College Foundation, Incorporated (12 units earned). Currently, I transferred school at Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology due to personal reason and I take 9 units in Master of Arts in Education Major in Mathematics. In terms of my teaching experience, I have been involved as an Alternative Learning System Senior High School Volunteer Teacher at San Isidro National High School for 1 year.
Being a teacher, I believe in the principle that an effective teaching and learning process in a learning environment is not only about what subject topics to be teach in class. Effective teaching is about how were you able to teach subject to your students that enhance their cognitive, psychomotor and affective domain. I believe that the combination of these concepts helps learners to independently learn on their own. In this principle, I can able to help them attain the quality education that they deserve. By this way, it emphasizes the importance of education to the growth of every learner in life.
I am hoping that you will give me an opportunity to discuss more about the things that I can contribute in this institution.
