I am a graduate student at an American highschool known as Abaarso School of Science and Technology in Somaliland, and I am currently enrolled in Binus Interantional University. I possess the qualities of being passionate, dynamic, bilingual, and resilient. Throughout my academic journey, I have taken on various leadership roles such as being the founder of an agency, community service tutor, enrichment intern, computer science mentor, proctor, and established small businesses like pizza delivery in the Abaarso community. As I aspire to major in computer science, I believe that I am a very well-rounded individual who has a great desire to bring about change in the world. My experiences as a student at Abaarso School of Science and Technology, combined with my leadership roles and entrepreneurial ventures, have shaped my passion for leveraging technology to address the challenges facing Somaliland and beyond. Throughout my academic career, I have taken on diverse roles that reflect my commitment to growth and community development. As the founder of GatesAgency, I have been at the forefront of consulting small businesses, helping them adapt to evolving market trends and improve their sales strategies. This experience, coupled with my work as a mentor in computer science and various tutoring roles, has given me the chance to develop my problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Whether it was mentoring 105+ students in the Primary Tutoring Program or providing technical support to my peers in the maker’s space room, I have always been motivated by the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others through education and technology. My academic journey has not been without its challenges, but it is through overcoming adversity that I have developed resilience and determination. I firmly believe that the right education will empower everybody, hence why I'm willing to teach children.
