Organizing activities that require a pupil to hear, see, say and do something.
Building regular brakes into classes so that students do not become bored or- fatigued. Helping children who are shy to sit in class integrated with their fellow pupils.
Preparing students for life outside and after school by talking to them in hand adult way. Encouragingstudents to activelyparticipate in all class roomactivities.
Gathering information about a child from a number of different perspectives.
Providing education and training of students with physical, emotional, mental and learning disabilities.
Assess students’ knowledge and skills to determine their strengths and needs.
Adapt and collaborate with teachers to adapt, lessons to meet the needs of special education students.
Help develop individualized education programs (IEPs). Which outline the services and accommodations each student will receive
Meet with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators to discuss students’ progress. Ensure that schools comply with requirements of the individuals with disabilities education Act (IDEA).
Prepare materials, individualized lesson plans plus activities according assessment goals Demonstrate knowledge of effective instructional techniques by using a wide variety of materials and mediums of delivery avoiding over use of any one medium.
Act as IEP facilitator and collaborator between special education and general education teachers.
Prepare and monitoring students records. Attending lectures and seminars.
Maintain appropriate student data and other records and submit reports as required
Perform other duties as assigned
