I always start from basic. I want to make sure that the student has a good knowledge of the concept. So then it makes them intrested in continue studying. Also I'll try to get into the method which suits the marks alloted for the particular question. Like incase of a school students we need step by step solution for a problem. But in case of a competitive aspirant they should know the tricks and tips in solving fastly. I made many students successfull in their exams. I belive in friendly teaching. So it will be more like a discussion rather than a boring class.
