JAYESH NAMBIAR Yoga & meditation coach As most expats, I arrived in Dubai with similar life and career goals. My regular day work and the typical 9–5 schedule didn't inspire me much. Entrepreneurship was my attempt to achieve something distinctive.
The project was unsuccessful and caused me anguish. My mental and physical health declined, causing anxiety and depression. But the challenges gave me a fresh perspective on life. This was a big life turning event for me.
I set out on a journey of self-discovery and progress. I studied and practiced basic yoga and meditation as a first step toward transformation and change. I saw profound changes in my life, attitude, and mental condition as I regularly engaged in the fundamental practices of pranayama, yoga, and meditation. Anxiety, despair, and stress all vanished.
In my own words, I explain it as
"Years of worry had clouded my thinking. Using these techniques, I was able to cleanse my mind, eliminate the bad thoughts and negative energy that had begun to overwhelm me. I could regain control of my physical and emotional health and focus on the positive aspects of life. I was able to embrace happiness and life again."
After discovering the tremendous benefits of yoga and meditation, I decided to pursue professional training in the ancient traditions of yoga at the Sri Sri School of Yoga in Bangalore, India. I then decided to turn my passion for yoga into a career and work as a wellness consultant, instructor, and motivator, helping people who want to live happier, more tranquil, and healthier lives.
I view my personal development and existence as a practical example of the health advantages that practicing yoga and meditation can offer a person. How this ancient wisdom can help us evolve and live a modern, joyful, and healthy life.
My mission is to encourage people to practice yoga and meditation and make it a part of their lifestyle. The advantages that this age-old knowledge can offer us in the contemporary era are vast.
In addition, I volunteer at Art of Living and am a faculty member and enthusiast.
