I hold a fair amount of experience in interacting with diverse groups, both regional and international, with subjects ranging from software development to client interactions. As a result, I have managed to hone my abilities to communicate effectively, set out roadmaps for progression (which included clear milestones and timelines) and, most importantly, break down complex topics in a coherent manner.

The technical side of my work has involved mainly the development of API and full-stack applications, and - most recently - software migration.
For front-end development, I have utilised mainstream web frameworks and libraries such as Angular and React to design and develop accessible and responsive web applications.
For back-end development, I have leveraged open-source frameworks like ASP .NET and Spring to create robust API and a various databases (both relational and non-relational).
I have also designed and normalised databases for interfacing with API in an efficient manner.

In addition to my professional experience in development, I have held training sessions on using tools that are open source and those I have designed and developed myself.

Given that I graduated during the pandemic, I am aware of the challenges posed by learning online and am capable of overcoming them with methods that have worked for me.

Experience

  • Software Migration Engineer (Dec, 2023–Nov, 2024) at DTS Corporation, Tokyo
    Collaborated with a highly diverse, cross-functional group of over 40 members from 7 countries,
    fostering a multicultural work environment as deputy leader of a team of 5.
    Migrated sensitive modules from legacy software systems, ensuring smooth transition to business operations.
    Spearheaded the development of a migration tool to generate boilerplate code (~92% of the lines of code of the generated modules), streamlining the migration of verbose components.
    Created and maintained comprehensive project documentation, adhering to best practices.
    Wrote extensive unit test cases to validate the integrity, consistency and reliability of migrated code, ensuring quality assurance throughout the entire migration process.

Fee details

    ₹800/hour (US$9.26/hour)

    Teaching the fundamentals of simple topics between 10:00IST to 16:00IST would call for lower fees to be charged.
    The rate charged would increase with a depth of matter and complexity of the topics taught.
