Experience
Research Assistant (Dec, 2021–Present) at CERID, LAdoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) International College, Ogbomoso
As part of the Centre for Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Diseases (CERID) at LAUTECH, my primary role focused on tutoring and mentoring students. I provided guidance to undergraduate and master's students, helping them navigate complex scientific concepts, particularly in the areas of Medical Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Parasitology. I supported students in their research by offering one-on-one mentorship, assisting with the design and execution of experiments, and ensuring they understood key theoretical and practical aspects of their studies.
In addition to tutoring, I supervised students during laboratory practicals, helping them develop essential skills in molecular diagnostic techniques. I also played an integral part in mentoring students during their research projects, providing advice on data analysis, scientific writing, and presentation. By creating an interactive and supportive learning environment, I helped students gain confidence in their academic abilities and encouraged them to explore scientific topics in-depth. My efforts were aimed at fostering critical thinking and preparing students for successful careers in science and research.
