I am an experienced Biology and Chemistry educator with over a decade of teaching experience. I hold a BSc in Microbiology, an MSc in Medical Microbiology and Parasitology, and am currently pursuing a PhD in Genetics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). Additionally, I hold a Professional Diploma in Education, reflecting my commitment to excellence in teaching.

    As part of the Centre for Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Diseases (CERID) at LAUTECH, my primary role focused on tutoring and mentoring students. I provided guidance to undergraduate and master's students, helping them navigate complex scientific concepts, particularly in the areas of Medical Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Parasitology. I supported students in their research by offering one-on-one mentorship, assisting with the design and execution of experiments, and ensuring they understood key theoretical and practical aspects of their studies.

    In addition to tutoring, I supervised students during laboratory practicals, helping them develop essential skills in molecular diagnostic techniques.
