I am a passionate and dedicated facilitator who focuses on fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in mathematics and science subjects (chemistry and physics) to students.
As an enthusiastic and dedicated educator, I am always committed on creating hands-on learning experiences and
a student-centered approach.
I am the kind of an educator who is geared towards measuring success by students' enthusiasm for learning.
As an educator I prefer creating an effective environment that is open for discussion to the learners. This way, I am able to understand that the learners will take time in understanding the concepts of mathematics. Therefore, I am able to provide the learners with due feedback, practice assignments, doubt clearing sessions, and revision papers.
As a committed facilitator, I prefer introducing the topics using multiple examples. Mathematics is a subject that could be visualized and compared to practical life. Therefore, I normally come up with creative ways like images to teach maths. This is way the method of problem solving in facilitating is enhanced and the learners are able to visualize the practical side of what is mentioned in the problem.
When facilitating sciences ( chemistry and physics), I prefer to use an interactive visual. This strategy brings otherwise complex concept to life and helps the learners to develop chemical imagination
In summary, I always ensure that I have employed the 5Es when facilitating: Engage, Expore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate.
