I am Eng. Binara Bandara, a qualified tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and experience lecturing civil engineering students at a vocational university.   • Lecturer (Mar, 2023–Present) at University of Vocational Technology, Rathmalana.
    As a Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering Technology, University of Vocational Technology, I taught the Construction Economics and Accounting module for the B.Tech in Construction Technology & Resource Management program. The module covered essential topics such as cost planning, estimation, construction economics, business appraisal methods, and basic financial accounting and auditing. I delivered engaging lectures and interactive sessions, integrating real-world examples and case studies to enhance student understanding. I also facilitated discussions to develop critical thinking and decision-making skills while mentoring students to master complex concepts. My innovative teaching methods received positive feedback from both students and faculty, ensuring a successful completion of the module.
  • Demonstrator (Oct, 2022–Apr, 2023) at Open University of Sri lanka
    As a Demonstrator, I played a pivotal role in facilitating the academic growth of students within the Department of Civil Engineering. My responsibilities encompassed coordinating final year research projects, ensuring seamless execution of practical sessions, and mentoring students in various disciplines such as construction materials, strength of materials, hydraulic and hydrology, environmental engineering, and surveying.
