As a Flute/Music Instructor, I primary role will be to inspire and guide students in their musical journey by teaching the fundamentals and advanced techniques of flute playing. You will develop personalized lesson plans to suit students of varying skill levels, instill a passion for music, and foster creativity and discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and group lessons in flute playing and music theory to students of all ages and skill levels.

Design and implement customized lesson plans to address students’ strengths, areas of improvement, and goals.

Introduce students to a diverse range of musical styles, including classical, contemporary, and world music.

Teach essential music theory, sight-reading, and aural skills to complement flute instruction.

Prepare students for performances, auditions, competitions, and examinations.

Organize and participate in recitals, workshops, and other musical events.

Maintain a positive, supportive, and inspiring learning environment.

Evaluate and document students’ progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.

Stay updated on new teaching methodologies, musical repertoire, and advancements in flute techniques.

Collaborate with fellow instructors and contribute to curriculum planning when necessary.

Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling lessons and maintaining attendance records.
