I am Abhilash Sharma Boruah from Bhawanipu, Barpeta, Assam. I have completed my post-graduation in Ancient Indian History Culture and Archaeology (Ancient Indian History) from Cotton University and in History from Indira Gandhi National Open University.

During this period, I have published two articles in Journals,

In “Abhidha”, Journal of Art, Archaeology and Cultural Heritage Vol I, No I, pp 162-179 of PCCR named as “Sculptures of Biswanath Area in Assam”.
In "AALEKH" Journal of The Directorate of Museums, Indigenous and Tribal Faith and Culture Department, Government of Assam Vol I issue II, 2022, ISBN ********* , pp. 32-35 named as "The Sculptures of Urvashi Island, Guwahati, Assam".

I have completed one-year online certificate course of "Art and Architectural Heritage of India" conducted by “Deccan Archeological and Cultural Research Institution Hyderabad & Heritage Foundation Jalgaon”.
Online “One-month Certificate Course in Brahmi Script" conducted by the “Asiatic Society for Social Science Research”.
“Online Certificate Course on Numismatic” conducted by “Barahamihir Multidisciplinary Institute” under “Asiatic Society for Social Science Research”.
Participated in Five days national workshop on "Preservation and Conservation of Manuscript" organized by the “Manuscript Conservation Center at Department of Cultural Studies, Tezpur University, Assam and National Mission for Manuscripts, New Delhi, Ministry of Culture, Govt of India”.
Participated in "Workshop on Hengul-Haithal Painting Tradition of Early Assam" organized by the “Department of Chemical Science, Tezpur University”.

I would like to notify you regarding additional experience I have gathered during this timeframe.

Two months long Internship Program (Research and Documentation Project) in Assam State Museum as a Research Assistant from October to November 2021.
Three months internship as a Research Assistant and was engaged in research and cataloguing of the numismatic collection of the Jorhat District Museum along with preparation of digital file.
Also presented a paper on “Gosai Bihu: A Cultural Heritage of Biswanath” at “CKB College, Teok”.
Worked for six months as a Tutorial lecturer in the Department of History at Lakhimpur Telahi Kamalaboria College (L T K colleg)..
Presently I am working as an Assistant Professor (Part Time) in the Department of History, Bhawanipur Anchalik College.

Besides, I have submitted some research articles to some reputed Journals but yet to be published.

Here, I would like to mention the areas of my interest which are ancient history, cultural heritage, art and architecture, iconography, tourism and prehistory.
