Hi, I’m Cherry Ann Mejia, a 29-year-old Woman FIDE Master from the Philippines. I’ve been passionate about chess since I was 9, and I earned my WFM title at 14. With over 20 years of experience, I now share that passion with students of all ages and skill levels.

I’ve been teaching chess for 6 years, both online and in person, helping players from beginners to advanced improve their skills and understand the game better. Whether you're just starting out or trying to reach the next level, I’ll make sure our lessons are tailored to what you need.

In our lessons, we’ll cover a variety of topics, such as:

Endgames: Learning how to finish strong and turn a draw into a win.
Positional Play: Reading the board and making smart, strategic moves.
Tactics: Spotting combinations and threats to gain material or checkmate your opponent.
Strategy: Creating a solid game plan, including opening principles and piece coordination.

I like to keep lessons fun and interactive, with assignments that help you improve. My goal is to not only help you get better at chess but to make the process enjoyable.

If you’re looking to compete in tournaments or just improve your overall chess skills, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Let’s work together to take your game to the next level.
