I belive that chemistry is way beyond chemical reactions and equations, it's in our everyday day life. As a teacher I prioritise deep understanding not for the sake of exams only but to equip them with knowledge for a life time. I break down complex concepts into simpler ones while including relevant relatable examples and develop the lesson according to the learners needs and capabilities. I believe that "you see,you remember" so I include visual aids, diagrams, charts and videos to explain concept. I take an active learning approach where my students are given real life problems and they should solve them by applying the concepts that they have learnt. I believe in offering timely constructive feedback to students and my assessment are learning opportunities for students and not something to traumatise them. I offer personalised help as well as tips on how to pass exams.
