My name is Valerie. I use innovative strategies and teaching resources which make learning a fun and interesting experience for you. You will enjoy learning instead of thinking of it as a task. I begin by doing a diagnostic assessment, monitoring ongoing progress and giving immediate feedback. I have good communication skills, written and oral and will teach you these skills so that you will also become a confident and proficient communicator. I use hands-on learning activities, interactive teaching, so you may use a QR code for interactive learning or you may be given projects to work on where you have to research and look for information, collate your findings into a report and then present it using different tools, for example powerpoint or making a diorama, painting or doing a report. You will also learn to self edit, self assess and then grow in confidence over time to become a proficient learner and then be able to teach your fellow students and become a future leader. You will also learn skills of being able to interact with fellow students, contribute your ideas when in a group at school and learn to get along with other students. I hope to see you online soon.
