As with any successful teaching approach, mine involves gaining an insight into the individual learning style of the student and tailoring the sessions to suit this. I begin by developing an understanding of the tutee and developing a meaningful relationship with each individual. I am committed to providing instruction of the highest quality in order to achieve the best outcomes. Communication is key at every stage as it enables me to continue to build, develop and adapt the content to ensure continual progress.
I have started my career as an online tutor. However my vast experience as a primary school teacher in three countries and teaching a range of primary school subjects over the past 24 years has equipped me with the skills, knowledge and experience to successfully cater for the educational needs of a variety of students with varying learning styles. Furthermore over the past 4 years, I have taught whole groups and individuals successfully in an online setting. Currently, I tutor 3 children on a 1 to 1 online setting. I aim to provide a safe, stimulating and inspiring experience to help build self confidence as well as key skills and knowledge to support overall development of each child.
