"My name is sidra and I am a Hafiza-e-Quran. This means I have memorized the entire Quran, the holy book of Islam, by heart. It was a journey of dedication, hard work, and a deep love for the words of Allah.

Memorizing the Quran has been a life-changing experience for me. It has strengthened my connection with my faith and taught me the importance of patience and consistency. I continue to review the Quran regularly to keep it fresh in my memory and apply its teachings in my daily life.

Being a Hafiza is a great blessing, and I feel honored to carry the words of Allah in my heart. I hope to use this gift to inspire others and contribute positively to my community."

My name is sidra and I am presenting a tajweed quran course with a Quranic Quida.

Tajweed refers to the set of rules governing the correct pronunciation and recitation of the Quran. The word “Tajweed” comes from the Arabic root j-w-d, meaning “to improve” or “to make better.” In the context of Quranic recitation, Tajweed ensures that every letter of the Quran is pronounced correctly, with its proper characteristics and in accordance with the divine revelation received by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The primary goal of Tajweed is to preserve the sanctity and beauty of the Quran’s recitation. Since the Quran was revealed in Arabic, it has specific linguistic rules that, if neglected, can alter the meaning of the verses. Tajweed acts as a safeguard against such errors, ensuring the Quran is recited as intended.

The study of Tajweed involves understanding various aspects, including:

Articulation Points (Makharij): Knowing where each Arabic letter originates in the mouth and throat. Characteristics of Letters (Sifaat): Learning the unique traits of each letter, such as heaviness, softness, or elongation. Rules of Noon and Meem: Applying specific guidelines for nasal sounds (ghunnah). Rules of Prolongation (Madd): Extending certain vowels for the prescribed duration. Stopping and Starting (Waqf and Ibtida): Knowing where to pause and resume without changing the meaning.

Learning Tajweed is not only about technical precision but also about connecting with the Quran on a deeper level. When recited with Tajweed, the Quran resonates with a spiritual beauty that touches the hearts of both the reciter and the listener.

Studying Tajweed requires guidance from a qualified teacher or Qari, who can correct pronunciation and explain the rules in detail. This learning process is often accompanied by regular practice and revision. With consistent effort, Tajweed becomes an integral part of recitation, enhancing the overall experience of engaging with the Quran.

In Islam, reciting the Quran with Tajweed is highly recommended. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) encouraged believers to beautify their recitation and recite slowly and clearly. Tajweed is thus a means to honor the Quran, preserve its authenticity, and draw closer to Allah through its perfect recitation.
