I teach my students to try and experiment that they can create their own style .
I start with basic music theory and prepare notes according.
Mostly it'll take 1-2 months to understand and cope up with the theory and instruments.
I'd like to give ear training rather than following the books .so students will understand the sounds and recognise the keys which will be very useful in longterm in music .
