Hi there. My name is Hana Theresya Nisa. I graduated from English Literature. I have experience in both offline and online English Teaching and Public Speaking. I know that students have various needs in English.
In this opportunity, by looking at the needs, I offered a flexible class with learning agreements between the student and me as their English Tutor.
The methodology that I used for the class included refresh, vocabulary & their meaning, conversation & practice, and story of the day.
Refresh: the student will be telling the previous topics and the tutor will see their (her/his) progress.
Vocabulary and their meaning: the student will be given 3-5 new vocabulary and their meaning, then practice using them in a sentence.
Conversation & practice: the student will have a personal conversation with the tutor, and make sure that they understand the use of each vocabulary.
story of the day: The teacher or student would tell the story of the day.
Note: the topic will be based on the needs of the student. e.g English for business, and other various purposes.
The student and I will have an effective and enjoyable class, with the class agreement.
