I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, currently residing in Toronto, ON, Canada. I started learning Carnatic Music from the age of 3 years and am learning till present (more as a hobby). I also play the keyboard (Carnatic) and Harmoniam for which I haven't received any formal training. I have taught Sai Bhajans for Balvikas students of the Samithi I was part of.

I first assess the student's level and tailor the sessions to the unique needs of the student. I follow a strengths-based approach. I deliver sessions in such a way that they understand the concepts related to music. I am approachable and flexible. I've received feedback that I am detail-oriented, dedicated, hardworking, sincere and very supportive and understanding of each student and offer the services with the best interest of the individual.

It's a skill that I have been blessed with and am interested in learning and sharing the knowledge acquired through the years of training with four different vocal artists with varying levels of expertise.
