1) Curriculum Development and Delivery:
Create or adapt lesson plans and instructional materials that cover fundamental and advanced robotics concepts.
Teach courses on topics like automation, robotics design, programming languages (such as Python, C++, or MATLAB), sensors, and actuators.
Integrate industry-standard tools and platforms, such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, LEGO Mindstorms, or VEX Robotics, into lessons.
2)Hands-on Instruction:
Supervise students as they engage in practical activities like building robot prototypes, writing code, and testing designs.
Facilitate team projects, where students work in groups to solve robotics challenges, such as those found in competitions like FIRST Robotics or VEX Robotics competitions.
Provide guidance and troubleshooting support as students encounter challenges with their robots.
3)Assessment and Evaluation:
Assess students’ progress through quizzes, tests, practical assignments, and projects.
Offer feedback to help students improve their skills and deepen their understanding of robotics concepts.
Track student performance and provide reports on their progress to school administrators or program coordinators.
4)Equipment and Resource Management:
Maintain robotics equipment, tools, and software, ensuring everything is functional and up-to-date.
Order new parts, kits, and supplies as necessary to support students’ learning and projects.
Ensure safety protocols are followed, especially when students are working with tools, electronics, or machinery.
5)Mentorship and Guidance:
Provide mentorship to students interested in pursuing careers in robotics, engineering, or related fields.
Help students develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills through practical robotics projects.
Encourage students to participate in robotics competitions and other extracurricular activities.
6)Professional Development:
Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in robotics, including advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and robotics software.
Participate in workshops, conferences, and other professional development opportunities to enhance teaching methods and knowledge.
