My goal is to encourage and train students to build study habits at school and at home. I include discussions during my class and try to build cooperation between the students so that they can exchange their own ideas and understand different perspectives of the same content.
Student participation is much better then just throwing lecture on students' mind . So I just try to fulfill the needs of my students according their need, level and mindset rather then mine. I focus on learning process not only final results which should be teacher student centered.
