Hello! My name is Kailyn and I am so excited to be your psychology tutor! In my academic career, I have focused on human development, criminology, and forensics. I am a hands-on and visual learner and have found these the best way to teach others; but, know that I am happy to accommodate any learning style you may prefer. As a student and a teacher, I have learned that most concepts in this field are not as complex as they may first seem. To counteract the sometimes overwhelming amount of information, I have found it best to verbally process and use real-world examples to really grasp concepts in psychology. My goal is to not only help you earn better grades in your psychology class but also to help you understand and appreciate the multiple facets of this field of study and how they play out in your day-to-day life! No matter who you choose as a tutor, remember and find comfort in this - psychology is not a strict set of laws and theories to memorize, but is as living and evolving as we are; keep being curious and never stop asking questions!
