Hi, my name is Kayla, and I am a passionate tutor who wants to help you improve and understand better.
My aim in tutoring is not only to get the grades needed, but also for students to understand the concept fully, enjoy the lessons and to nurture them together. I believe that learning shouldn’t be something dreadful, but it is an enjoyable experience.
I have experienced in teaching students ranging from the age of 5-16, in a lot of different areas, specifically in Maths (which I enjoy a lot!) My most recent GCSE Maths student managed to improve from a 5 to a near 7 in the span of only 2 months!
Teaching is a very big passion for me, as I enjoy communicating with people, passing on my love for the subjects I teach, and allowing my students to develop the confidence to overcome their fear.
I believe that tutoring is a tool to help you improve your understanding of a subject, but a key element is for you to want to improve, so building your confidence is key to seeing an improvement!

  • Assistant Instructor (Mar, 2023–Present) at Kumon
    I assist the main Instructor in organising a systematic plan based on the student’s capabilities, following the Kumon curriculum. I communicate well with parents and build a good relationship to ensure the best support is given for the children, from home and in class. I advice the parents on plans of how to improve and achieve a better result for the students. I ensure the students are equipped with great feedbacks and praises from us in order to improve better.
  • Tutor (Jan, 2022–Present) at ' also i am a Employed Working as a online and home tutor
    I have been tutoring a variety of different specialties such as Arabic, 11+ Prep, KS2 Maths & English as well as GCSE Maths preparation. I have also succeeded in increasing my student’s result from a 5 to a near 7 for GCSE Maths in only 2 months before the examinations.
