As a teacher, I describe myself as one who likes to engage with and inspire students to focus on the subject at hand and give it their best. Few or the traits and qualities that I possess, which I think allows me to help on the way are -
I have Passion for Teaching: So I try to inspire my student to engage them in the process and so that the student learns the subject at hand and I get gratified teaching the subject.
Patience is and should be a virtue that I have in abundance and thus I allow a student to learn at his or her pace and ask as many question she or he likes.
Communication is the key in being able to explain concepts to a student. Effective communication is that where the recipient of a message understands exactly what is intended to be communicated. That’s what I focus on and speak in the language and in a manner that a student best understands.
There are several other aspects that I bring in to play to make my teaching sessions engaging and interesting, which includes encouraging my student to think and arrive at an answer to a given problem he or she may be facing. Amidst all this, reliability, belief and trust are critical that I focus on building with a student.
