Namaste,
I have 17 years of experience of performing on stage and 7 teachers experience of teaching.
Teaching bharatnatyam is a skill in itself. I have taken my formal education to understand the body dynamics, mythological relation, effects of different art on Bharatnatyam like music, history and iconography. This help me teach the students on a wholesome level.
Classical art like bharatnatyam requires learning of practical knowledge like 'dancing & expressions', as well theoretical knowledge of 'rhythm & music'. I am fortunate enough to have learnt all this from renovated guru's themselves. Happy to share my first hand experience with my student.

    This is a seven year dance diploma. This is a carefully curated course for students of Bharatnatyam in such students get from basic to advanced level training. Aranghatram, a tamil word for graduation ceremony is done once this 7 year course is completed.
