My teaching styles vary based on the nature of my students and any student I come across to teach. I Speak a language the student can understand clearly. I demonstrate, ask questions where necessary just to jog the mind of the student, review of the students past experience on the concept we are to cover, guide the student to do hands on activity like calculations, writing words, solving problems and drawing tables. I elaborate to the students with clear explanations. I apply methods like research work from different sources, giving assignments, relooking the assignments, further discussions and corrections.
The students need to be sober without illness or so many things in mind so I ensure these factors before the lesson starts. I vary the concentration of concepts, sometimes I allow the learner to bring in their ideas so that I guide on the synthesis. For visually impaired learners, I recommend braille machine, braille paper so that they can write and paractice as we continue with the lesson which is timed. I employ all the possible ways to bring the best in my learner. My main aim is to narture every potential in my learners. My power and steength is to engage positively in the academic achievement of my learner.
