I am a BS Biochemistry graduate of the premiere state university of the Philippines - University of the Philippines Manila. I graduated Cum Laude with a full scholarship under the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). I am a DOST scholar since high school as I graduated from the premiere science high school of the Philippines, Philippine Science High School.

I am focused on understanding the topic and helping students understand by using analogies, applications in the real world, and comparing to tangible observations. Feedback is also important to me, so I will usually conduct a summary and a quick learning check at the end of every section. I am not a believer of rote memorization, but rather on understanding because this allows the students to store the information better especially when they can connect it to daily observable phenomenon. I usually gauge whether students learn quick or not and adjust my pace and learning checks accordingly.
